‘My Artists’ App Celebrates Leonard Cohen’s Birthday with iPad giveaway

Leonard Cohen, Canadian poet and musician, turns 76 this week and Top Drawer Apps, developer of My Artists for iPhone and iPod Touch, is marking the event by offering fans the chance to win free iPads by posting “Happy Birthday, Leonard” on Twitter with a link to http://myartistsapp.com.
My Artists enhances your music library with images, video, and text and makes discovering new music easy. MacTalk desribes the app as “stunningly beautiful… the first truly feasible iPod replacement app” and MacStories says it’s a “must-have for all music lovers.”
Oisin Prendiville, lead developer at Top Drawer Apps, is a huge fan of Cohen. “When he started touring again in 2008 after a 15 year hiatus I went to all three of his concerts in Ireland and then travelled to see him in Bruges, Amsterdam, London, Vienna and Austin, Texas. Now that My Artists is available I wanted to mark his birthday is some way.”
My Artists is available through Apple’s App Store at a reduced price of US$0.99 from 21 September for one week.
